Button Easter Egg Art
Whenever I look for crafts, I always try to make something that I haven't before. Something that is unique, colourful, and will be something I can either make or have for years to come. When I found this beautiful DIY on Pinterest, I knew it was the perfect way to add a new dimension to my Easter and spring decorations. Not only is it easy to make, but it will look beautiful wherever you stand or hang it.
Materials:

8.5x11 piece of white card stock
Various sizes of 3 colours of buttons
Hot glue gun and glue
8x10 frame
Scissors or paper cutter
Directions:
Print the egg pattern on the card stock. Trim the paper to be 8x10. I used the paper inner part of the frame I bought to get the right size.
Before I began to glue, I decided to lay out the buttons on the pattern so I could see what the layout looked like before I made it permanent. Once I was happy, I began with the bottom and started gluing one button at a time.

Once you've completed the first layer of buttons for each colour, you can add a second and, if desired, a third layer.
After the buttons have dried, add your masterpiece into your frame and find a place for the frame in your home to show off!
