DIY Holiday Card Pegs
I love writing and receiving cards during the holiday/Christmas season. There's something about physically receiving a card that brings me some Christmas joy. As it is my first Christmas as a teacher, I received a bunch of cards from my students. This inspired me to display them in a way that I could look at them and enjoy them all season long.
This display is so easy to make, and I didn't actually have to spend any money making it! All the materials I used were things I already had in my house (perhaps you will have them too!).
Paint, your choice of colours (I chose red, white, and green for Christmas)
String of your choice
Clips to hang up the string
What to do:
First, figure out how many pegs you are going to need. It's always nice to have extra ones in case you get more cards than you originally thought.
Lay out your paint, and start painting your pegs. It's good to do one side at a time and so it can dry. Once all your pegs are painted, you can hang up your string.
Figure out where you are going to hang up your cards. Measure your string so it can stretch across your chosen location, leaving a little extra on each side so you have extra to tie the string up.
Now you are ready to hang up your cards and enjoy them for the whole season!
Merry Christmas everyone!
