How to Make a Flower Pot Treat Holder
Updated: Nov 3
About a year ago, I was attending a staff appreciation dinner for the company I was working for at the time. At each table were these adorable centrepieces made by a lady who worked for the head office. They were filled with treats for everyone at the table to enjoy. At the end of the night, everyone who wanted to take one could. I thought they were an adorable way to colour up a room or an outdoor space, and after looking at the centrepieces more closely, I realized how easy they would be to make! So if you're looking for a fun spring or summer project, this is just what you're looking for.
Flower pot with removable base
Wooden sphere or knob (I found mine at Michael's)
Glass vase/bowl the same size as the flower pot base
Paint & brush
Paint your flower pot, base, and wooden knob until you reach your desired colour.
Once the paint has dried, glue the wooden sphere to the base. This will become your lid.
Flip the pot upside down and glue the bottom of the glass vase/bowl to the pot.
Add your favourite treats!
And there you have it, a cute and colourful flower pot vase to hold your favourite treats!
This is a really easy and cute DIY to make, whether as a gift or just for your own home. You can customize it even more by adding any bedazzlement you wish or any other paint combination you desire.
