Travel Bucket List: USA
I would be remiss if I didn't write a travel bucket list with locations in my grand neighbour to the south: the USA. While I have been to a lot of spots in the USA (mostly on the east coast), there are a lot of spots that I am interested in exploring. These, however, are my top 3.
The home of country music (and frankly, a lot of phenomenal music) would be incredibly fun to me, a recent convert to enjoying country music. To see all of the typical spots of famous performers such as the Grand Ol' Opry would be incredibly exciting. Nashville isn't just about country either. There is a great history of all genres and regardless of what you are into, you can find a source of entertainment in this city. There's also a lot of history in Nashville outside of country music, which I would really love, and in seeing some of the pictures of Nashville, it is a beautiful city to simply explore.
New Orleans, Louisiana
The history in New Orleans is something else. My brother has been a few times to visit a good friend of his who lives there, and he always says it's a lot of fun. I can't imagine what it is like there during Mardi Gras, but I'm sure its one hell of a party. New Orleans is also another incredible food location. Between the southern influence and the French influence, oh boy, I would certainly have a grand old time.
Okay, I know that I put down the whole state, but really who would not want to explore the beautiful island of Hawaii? From the incredible water and beaches, to the delicious food, and the wonderful people, there is a lot that Hawaii has to offer. Whenever I have had a friend post about their trip to Hawaii, I look on in envy at the beauty and just think about a future trip filled with things to do, places to explore, and new foods to try.
Where else in the USA do you recommend I visit?
